How Much Does Product Photography Cost in Lebanon? Real 2026 Prices (With a Worked Example)

By StudioLebanon Updated 10 min read

StudioLebanon product photography prices from $80 for one hour to $290 for four hours, with editing included.

Last updated: 14 October 2026

In Lebanon, product photography is quoted per finished image, per session (half day or full day) or by the hour, and the final number depends on how many products you have, how much styling is involved and who is shooting. At StudioLebanon we price by the hour: $80 for the first hour and $70 for each additional hour, with editing included, so a typical 20-product ecommerce shoot lands around $220 to $290.

We wrote this guide because of something we keep seeing in our own Google Search Console. In the last three months, the searches “product photography pricing lebanon” (113 impressions) and “product photography price lebanon” (106 impressions) added up to 219 impressions from people asking one simple question: what does this cost? Almost nobody in the Lebanese market answers it publicly. Most studios say “DM for price.”

So here is the honest breakdown: how the different pricing models work, exactly what we charge, a worked example with real numbers, and the hidden costs that actually blow up budgets.

Finding 1: Lebanon has three pricing models, and they are not comparable at a glance

Claim: Quotes in Lebanon come as per-image, per-session (half day or full day), or hourly pricing, and comparing them without converting to the same unit is the most common mistake we see business owners make.

Data: These are the formats we see when clients bring us quotes to compare, and what to check in each one:

Pricing modelHow it is billedWhat to ask before you bookBest for
Per finished imageA fixed fee for each delivered photoDoes every extra angle count as a new image? Is retouching included?A handful of simple white-background products
Half-day session (about 4 hours)One fee for a block of timeHow many products and angles fit? Is editing billed separately?15–30 products with basic styling
Full-day session (about 8 hours)One fee for a full dayWhat happens if you finish early? Are models and props extra?Large catalogs, lookbooks
Studio rental only (no photographer)By the hour or day, space and lights onlyWhich lights and stands are included? Who retouches?Brands with their own photographer
Full creative agency campaignA project fee covering concept, crew and talentWhich deliverables and usage rights are included?Campaigns with concept, models, art direction

Food and beverage shoots usually take the most time in any format, because styling, props and timing (ice, steam, condensation) take longer than the shutter click. Most studios in Lebanon do not publish their rates at all, which is exactly why converting every quote into the same unit matters.

Practical translation: Before comparing two quotes, turn both into “cost per usable, edited image” and “total cost for my whole catalog.”

Finding 2: Our hourly pricing, in plain numbers

Claim: Hourly pricing is the most transparent model for small and mid-sized Lebanese brands, because you only pay for the time your products actually need.

Data: Our product photography is billed by the hour in our Zouk Mosbeh studio in Keserwan, a short drive north of Beirut. Editing is included: retouching, color correction, background removal, web and print optimization, and files sized for Shopify, Amazon and Etsy. Delivery is 3 to 5 business days, with an expedited option.

Studio timeTotal priceTypical output (estimate, simple packshots)Typical output (estimate, styled shots)
1 hour$805–8 products, 2–3 angles each2–3 styled setups
2 hours$15010–15 products, 2–3 angles each4–6 styled setups
3 hours$22015–22 products, 2–3 angles each6–9 styled setups
4 hours$29020–30 products, 2–3 angles each8–12 styled setups

Those product counts are conservative, typical estimates, not promises. Reflective products (glass bottles, jewelry, sunglasses) take longer to light than a matte box. Clothing depends on the method: flat-lay and hanging-garment shots move faster than on-model shots.

Practical translation: If you have fewer than about 25 simple products, you are usually looking at a 2 to 4 hour booking, or $150 to $290 all in.

Finding 3: A worked example shows where the money really goes

Claim: The honest way to price a shoot is to build it from your product list, not from a package name.

Data: Here is a typical scenario we quote for a small cosmetics brand in Lebanon. The numbers below are a worked estimate, not a specific client.

  • The brief: 20 skincare products, each shot on white from 3 angles (front, back label, 45°), plus 4 styled hero shots for Instagram and the homepage.
  • White-background packshots: 60 images. At about 8 products per hour (the upper end of our typical range, realistic for matte tubes and jars), that is about 2.5 hours.
  • Styled hero shots: 4 setups with props and texture swatches. About 1 hour.
  • Buffer for label cleanup and reflections: about 30 minutes.
  • Total: 4 hours = $290, with retouching and background removal included, for 64 final images.

That works out to roughly $4.50 per edited image ($290 divided by 64). Because we bill for time rather than for each file, every extra angle you add inside the same booked hour lowers your cost per image further, and the four styled hero shots cost no more per hour than the packshots.

Practical translation: Count your SKUs, multiply by the angles you need, and add your hero shots. That single number tells you which pricing model is cheaper for you.

Finding 4: Five things drive the cost of a product photoshoot

Claim: Camera gear is not what makes a shoot expensive. Complexity is.

Data: Across every product shoot we plan, these five variables decide the final number:

  • Number of SKUs and variants. Ten colors of the same bag are ten setups on paper but often one lighting setup in practice, which is why hourly billing rewards grouping.
  • Angles per product. Amazon-style listings often need 5 to 7 images per product. A simple Instagram shop might need 1 to 2.
  • Styling. Props, surfaces, water splashes, food styling and flat-lays add setup time. Each styled scene usually takes 15 to 30 minutes.
  • Models. You can bring your own model, or we source one for you from $50 per hour per model, quoted before the shoot. Our guide on how to book models for a product shoot in Lebanon covers the details.
  • Location. Studio shoots are the most efficient. On-location shoots (your shop, restaurant or warehouse anywhere in Lebanon) and full-day catalog shoots are quoted by scope, because travel, setup and teardown add time.

Practical translation: The fastest way to lower a quote is to reduce setups, not to find a cheaper camera.

Finding 5: Hidden costs are where Lebanese product shoot budgets go wrong

Claim: The headline price is rarely the problem. The extras that nobody mentions until the invoice are.

Data: These are the hidden costs we see most often when business owners show us quotes they received elsewhere:

  • Retouching billed separately. Some low per-image rates cover only a basic export. Background removal, dust cleanup and color matching can be charged again per image. Ours is included.
  • Model fees added late. A model’s rate, travel and extra hours should be in writing before the shoot day.
  • Unprepared products. Scratched packaging, crooked labels and fingerprints cost studio time or, worse, retouching time. Clean products before you arrive.
  • Reshoots. Unclear briefs lead to “can we redo these on grey?” A shot list agreed in advance prevents paying twice.
  • Wrong file sizes. Images that do not fit Shopify, Amazon or Instagram crops mean paying someone to resize or re-edit later.
  • Currency confusion. Always confirm your quote is in fresh US dollars and what it includes, so there are no surprises at payment.

Practical translation: Ask every photographer the same question: “What is not included in this price?”

Finding 6: Studio rental is the cheapest route only if you already have the skills

Claim: Renting a studio and shooting yourself can save money, but only for brands with a trained in-house photographer.

Data: Our studio rental rates are $50 for 1 hour, $120 for a half day (4 hours) and $200 for a full day (8 hours), with an Amaran 300C RGB LED, 2 flashes with trigger, softboxes, C-stands and a backdrop stand included. If you are building your own kit for in-house shoots, our sister store studiolebanon.com/shop is priced to be the best in Lebanon: original cameras, lenses, Godox and Amaran lighting and tripods and 2–3 business day delivery across Lebanon.

Practical translation: Rent the studio if someone on your team can light glass and retouch. Otherwise, book the shoot and save the learning curve.

Myth: “Per-photo pricing is always cheaper”

It sounds safer to pay only for the images you get. Sometimes it is. For 5 or 10 simple products with one angle each, a per-image quote can be a fair deal.

But per-photo pricing scales badly. Every extra angle is a new line on the invoice, even though the photographer shot it in seconds under the same lights. In our worked example, 64 images came to about $4.50 each on hourly billing, and that figure only drops as you add angles within the same hours.

The second myth is that you need a full-day shoot. Most small Lebanese brands we work with finish in 2 to 4 hours. A full day only makes sense for large catalogs, multiple models or on-location work.

What to do this week

  1. List every product you need shot, with the number of angles for each.
  2. Separate simple packshots from styled or on-model shots, and count each group.
  3. Clean and prep your products: remove price stickers, wipe fingerprints, straighten labels.
  4. Collect 5 to 10 reference images you like from our portfolio or from brands you admire.
  5. Ask every photographer for a total price in fresh USD and what is not included.
  6. Send us your product list through our contact page for a same-scope hourly estimate.

Frequently asked questions

How much does product photography cost in Lebanon? It depends on your product count, angles and styling, and on whether you are quoted per image, per session or by the hour. At StudioLebanon, studio product photography is $80 for the first hour and $70 for each additional hour, with editing included: $150 for 2 hours, $220 for 3 hours and $290 for 4 hours.

How many products can you shoot in one hour? As a conservative estimate, 5 to 8 simple products with 2 to 3 angles each, or 2 to 3 styled setups. Reflective items like perfume bottles and jewelry take longer, and on-model clothing takes longer still.

Is editing included in your product photography price? Yes. Retouching, color correction, background removal, web and print optimization, and files sized for Shopify, Amazon and Etsy are all included. Delivery takes 3 to 5 business days, and expedited delivery is available.

How much does it cost to add a model to a product shoot in Lebanon? You can bring your own model at no extra studio cost. If you want us to source one, StudioLebanon models start from $50 per hour per model, and we confirm the quote before the shoot.

Do you shoot products outside your studio in Zouk Mosbeh? Yes. On-location shoots in Beirut, Jounieh, Metn and elsewhere in Lebanon, as well as full-day catalog shoots, are quoted by scope because travel and setup time vary.

Can I buy the gear to shoot products in-house? Yes. Our sister store studiolebanon.com/shop offers the best prices in Lebanon on original cameras, lenses, lighting and tripods, with 2–3 business day delivery anywhere in Lebanon. If you are not sure what you need yet, rent our studio for an hour first and test the setup before you buy.

Is ecommerce product photography priced differently? No, it follows the same hourly rate. The difference is in planning: marketplaces need consistent angles and exact sizes, which we cover in our guide to ecommerce product photography in Lebanon.
