How to Become a UGC Creator in Lebanon (No Followers Needed)

Talking-head shoot set up in the StudioLebanon studio

You can become a UGC creator in Lebanon without a big following. Brands pay for the video, not your follower count, so what matters is confidence on camera, the way you talk, and delivering on time. Creators in our network generally aim for about $40 to $300 per video, and you apply once through our model application form with “UGC content creator” ticked.

Key takeaways

  • No big following needed. Several people with almost zero followers have been paid for UGC through us.
  • Creators generally aim for about $40 to $300 per video, depending on the brand’s budget and their own minimum.
  • A phone is enough to start. A ring light helps, and our studio equipment is available case by case.
  • You are paid once the video is delivered, from money the brand has already paid upfront.

Demand for UGC in Lebanon is huge. We work with 25 UGC creators who deliver over 80 videos a month, and we are always looking for more. This guide covers what UGC creators actually do, what we look for, what creators aim to earn, and exactly how to apply as a UGC creator.

Finding 1: Brands don’t need your followers

UGC is not just for influencers or micro-influencers. Brands in Lebanon pay creators with small followings, and several of ours started with almost none.

International platforms say the same thing. Guides such as Idukki’s “How to Become a UGC Creator in 2026 (No Following Required)” make the same point: the brand is buying a video it can use, not a slot on your page.

Several people with almost zero followers have been paid for UGC through us, because they had the confidence and the look the brand needed. Reach doesn’t depend on followers either: one supplement video from our network reached about 10,000 organic views on the creator’s own page, which had only 60 followers at the time. The video did the work, not the follower count.

Practical translation: stop waiting to “grow first”. If you are comfortable on camera, you can start now.

Finding 2: What we look for in a UGC creator

When we accept a creator into the network, four things decide it:

  • Confidence. You look into the lens and talk like you are telling a friend about something you use.
  • Your look, matched to brands. We pair creators with brands by audience, age and look, so different faces suit different products.
  • The way you talk. Natural, clear, and easy to listen to, in English, Lebanese Arabic or French.
  • Delivering on time. Brands get their videos within 3 days, so reliability matters as much as talent.

Practical translation: your sample videos should show all four.

Finding 3: What UGC creators earn in Lebanon

Creators in our network generally aim for about $40 to $300 per video. Where you land depends on the brand’s budget and the minimum you set.

Here is how pricing works with us, so there are no surprises:

  • You set your minimum. Tell us the lowest price you accept per video.
  • We share the brand’s budget upfront. We tell you the brand’s budget before you say yes, and you can turn the job down.
  • The brand pays first. The brand pays StudioLebanon in advance, and you are paid once the work is fully delivered. We hold the payment in between, which protects both sides.

Practical translation: pick a realistic minimum for your first jobs, and deliver on time.

Finding 4: What a UGC job actually involves

A typical job, from our side:

  1. We match you to a brand whose customers look like your audience. We usually don’t put the same creator on two competing brands.
  2. You get the brand kit and a guideline: the product, the message, and anything you must or must not say. We help you finalise the script so it sounds like you.
  3. You film it on your phone, at your place, or in our Zouk Mosbeh studio. Most of our UGC is filmed at the creator’s place.
  4. We edit it with captions (Arabic videos get Arabic-script captions), and the brand gets one round of revisions.
  5. You post it on your TikTok and as an Instagram story, marked as a paid partnership, with the brand tagged.

The most common mistake is not reading the brand’s guidelines. If the brand asks for a certain outfit, or a white wall behind you, and the video doesn’t have it, the video has to be filmed again. Read the guideline before you press record, and check your outfit and background against it.

Brands get the right to use your video in their ads, generally for life. Larger influencers usually license for 1 year, with a small royalty.

The categories in highest demand right now are guesthouses, beauty and health products, and clothing. Brands outside Lebanon can also send products of any kind, from electronics to skincare, and many briefs are in English, so English-speaking creators are in demand too.

Practical translation: if you can follow a guideline, film one clean video in a day and post on time, you can do this job.

Finding 5: What you need

A phone, plus TikTok and Instagram accounts to post the videos on. That’s it to start. For self-filmed videos:

  • A ring light helps keep your face evenly lit. A window in daylight works too.
  • Film vertically, framed for TikTok and Reels.
  • Pick a quiet room. Clear sound matters as much as the picture.

Our studio equipment is available case by case, and we stay in direct contact with you and the brand throughout.

How the application works

UGC creators apply through the same form as our models. Open Apply as a UGC creator and “UGC content creator” is already ticked. The form has four short steps, and each one saves as you go, so you can stop and come back on the same device:

  1. About you: your name, contact details, date of birth and city, plus your Instagram and TikTok handles.
  2. Your modeling: whether you have modeling experience, the work that interests you (keep UGC ticked, choose Videos or Both, and say yes to talking videos), and a few honest sentences about yourself.
  3. Photos and measurements: your height and weight, plus a smiling portrait and a full-length front photo. Clear phone photos in natural light, no filters. Large photos are resized on your phone before they upload.
  4. ID check: the front of your passport or Lebanese ID, to confirm your identity and age.

If you are under 18, a parent or guardian completes their part of the form and gives consent.

Three sample videos to film this week

Brands decide in seconds, so show range. Film these three on your phone:

  1. The first impression. Open a product you own and react honestly in the first three seconds, then say who it’s for.
  2. The problem and fix. Start with a small everyday problem, show the product solving it, and end with one line on why you’d buy it again.
  3. The talking piece. Thirty seconds straight to camera on why you like a place, a product or an app, in the language you are most natural in.

Keep each one short, well lit and in focus. Then send them to us on WhatsApp at +961 76 393 638 or by email to info@studiolebanon.com, with your full name so we can match them to your application. Don’t post them on Instagram or TikTok; we only need the video files. If you want to model as well, our guide on how to start modeling in Lebanon with no experience covers the photos agencies ask for.

Three myths that stop people from starting

Myth 1: “I need thousands of followers.” You don’t. Follower count matters less than people think. The right hook, a natural delivery and a product that doesn’t look like a boring ad make up for it.

Myth 2: “UGC is unprofessional.” International brands rely on UGC constantly. It’s a skill, and brands pay for it because it works.

Myth 3: “AI will replace UGC creators.” People want a human touch: a real face, a real room, a real voice. That’s exactly what brands come to us for.

What to do this week

  1. Film the three sample videos above on your phone.
  2. Decide your minimum price per video.
  3. Tidy your TikTok and Instagram so a brand sees your best side.
  4. Get your photos ready: a smiling portrait and a full-length shot.
  5. Apply as a UGC creator. “UGC content creator” is already ticked for you.
  6. Send your three sample videos on WhatsApp or to info@studiolebanon.com, with your full name.

Becoming a UGC creator: questions

Do I need followers to become a UGC creator in Lebanon?

No. Brands pay for the video, not your audience. Several of our creators had almost zero followers when they were first paid.

How much do UGC creators earn in Lebanon?

Creators in our network generally aim for about $40 to $300 per video. You set your minimum, and we tell you the brand’s budget before you accept.

How do I send my sample videos?

On WhatsApp at +961 76 393 638, or by email to info@studiolebanon.com. Include your full name so we can match the videos to your application. The form has no video upload, so send your samples separately.

What is the most common mistake new UGC creators make?

Not reading the brand’s guidelines. The wrong outfit, or a busy background when the brand asked for a white wall, means filming the video again.

When do I get paid?

Once the video is fully delivered. The brand pays StudioLebanon upfront, and we pay you once the work is done.

Do I have to post the video on my own account?

Yes. Each video goes out on your TikTok and as an Instagram story, marked as a paid partnership, with the brand tagged.

Can I apply if I’m under 18?

Yes, with a parent or guardian. They fill in their details and give consent on the application, and they must be present for any shoot.

Do I have to come to the studio?

No. Most UGC is filmed at the creator’s place or on their phone. Our Zouk Mosbeh studio is there when a brand needs a cleaner setup. Brands can see how we work on our UGC content creation page.
