Overview

About the Amaran Light Dome 60

The Amaran Light Dome 60 is a compact softbox for Bowens-mount lights up to 600W. Its 16-sided circular shape gives round catchlights in the eyes. It is a good size for portraits, interviews and close-up content.

Quick-release rods make setup and pack-down fast. It comes with a 1.5-stop front diffusion, an inner baffle and a light control grid, so you can go from very soft light to more controlled light with more contrast. It weighs 1.2 kg and packs into the carrying bag that comes with it.

Mount it on an Amaran Ray 120c or Ray 360c and a Visico LS-8005 or LS-8007 light stand. For interviews, pair it with a Sony A7 IV or Canon R6 Mark II and a DJI Mic 3.
