UGC for Supplement and Health Brands in Lebanon: Videos That Build Trust

By StudioLebanon 7 min read

Supplement and health UGC sells when a real person shows the product in their day, not when it promises results. Our best UGC result so far is a supplement video: about 10,000 organic views on the creator’s own page, which had only 60 followers. Health brands are among the categories in highest demand with us, and we’ve already made UGC for them. Keep scripts to experience, respect the ad rules, and start from $140 per video, depending on the creator.

Key takeaways

  • A simple supplement video beat polished studio content for the same brand, and reached about 10,000 views on a 60-follower page.
  • Show the routine, not the result. Taste, texture and when you take it sell without risky claims.
  • The ad rules are strict. Meta bars ads that play on negative self-perception, and TikTok’s North America policy prohibits ads for weight-loss supplements.
  • Match the creator to the customer: the gym regular, the busy parent, the student, by audience, age and look.

Our 25 UGC creators deliver over 80 videos a month, and we’ve already made UGC for health brands. This guide covers the supplement video that did best, the formats that sell health products, the rules your script must follow, and how to brief it. To order, brief our UGC creators.

Finding 1: The red-wall supplement video

Our best example is a supplement video. It was filmed in front of a red wall at one of our sister brands’ locations in Balloune. A creator from our network presented the product to camera, the way a customer would.

The video reached about 10,000 organic views on the creator’s own page, which had only 60 followers at the time. It also did better than polished studio content for the same brand.

The lessons we take into every health brief:

  • A believable person. Choose a creator who looks like someone who would take the product.
  • The product in hand, early. Viewers should know what the video is about straight away.
  • No overpromising. Talk about the product and the routine, not about miracles.

Practical translation: for health products, trust comes before reach. A believable creator with a small following can beat a polished ad.

Finding 2: Six formats that sell health products

FormatWhat happens on cameraBest for
The routineThe product inside a real morning, gym or work routineDaily vitamins, protein, greens
Taste testMixing, tasting and an honest reactionPowders, drinks, gummies
What’s in my bagThe gym bag or work bag, with your product in itBars, shakers, travel packs
UnboxingThe package, what’s inside, how to use itNew launches, bundles, subscriptions
Honest review“I’ve taken it for a few weeks; here’s what I think”Higher-priced products
How to take itDose, timing and mixing, shown simplyProducts customers find confusing

The routine and the taste test are the easiest place to start. They show the product in use without needing any claim.

Practical translation: order a routine video plus a taste test or “how to take it” video for the same product.

Finding 3: The rules your script must follow

Health is the category where ad platforms are strictest:

  • No negative self-perception. Meta’s policy says ad content “must not imply or attempt to generate negative self-perception in order to promote diet, weight loss, or other health-related products”, and shows before-and-after weight-loss images as non-compliant (Meta Transparency Center).
  • Weight-loss supplements are prohibited in some regions. TikTok’s North America ad policy handbook lists ads promoting weight loss and management supplements, such as fat-burning pills and appetite suppressants, as prohibited in that region, and requires pharmaceutical, healthcare and medicine ads to target users 18 and over (TikTok Ads Manager). Check the rules for the region where your ad will run.
  • No cure or disease claims. Meta restricts cure and disease claims and flags before-and-after imagery (Influencer Marketing Hub).
  • Label it. Our creators post as a paid partnership with your brand tagged.

Practical translation: write your claims list before you brief. What the label and your evidence allow is what the creator can say, and nothing more.

Finding 4: Safe and risky script lines

Instead of thisSay this
“Burns fat while you sleep.”“I take it with my breakfast every morning.”
“Cures your joint pain.”“It’s part of my routine after training.”
“Tired of your belly?”“This is what’s in my gym bag.”
“Doctors hate this.”“Here’s how I mix it.”
“Boosts your immunity guaranteed.”“It tastes like orange, which helps.”

Two habits keep supplement UGC safe: open with the product or the routine, never with a body flaw; and keep any result to the creator’s own experience of taking it.

Practical translation: paste this table into your brief as the creator’s guide to claims.

Finding 5: Match the creator to your customer

We match creators to brands by audience, age and look. For health products that matters a lot:

  • Protein and pre-workout: someone who trains, filmed after a session, or at a gym if the creator can film there.
  • Daily vitamins: a busy professional or a parent, filmed at home in the morning.
  • Beauty supplements: a creator whose skin, hair and routine fit the product.
  • Products for older customers: a creator of the right age, not someone obviously decades younger.

We usually don’t give the same creator to two competing brands.

Practical translation: describe your customer in the brief (age, lifestyle and why they buy) so we match on the right things.

What the price includes

UGC starts from $140 per video, depending on the creator. Each video includes:

  • A creator matched to your customer.
  • Your brand kit and a guideline, with our help on the final script.
  • A captioned edit, with one round of revisions. Arabic videos are captioned in Arabic script.
  • Paid-ads usage rights, generally for life.
  • A post on the creator’s TikTok and an Instagram story, as a paid partnership with your brand tagged.
  • Delivery within 3 days of the brief.

Brands outside Lebanon can send products to us. You pay upfront, and the creator is paid only once the work is fully delivered.

Practical translation: plan 3 to 5 videos per product with different creators, so you see which customer type responds.

Three myths about supplement UGC

Myth 1: “Health products need a doctor or a big name.” Our best result came from a creator with 60 followers. A believable person using the product can do more than a famous face.

Myth 2: “Before-and-after is what sells supplements.” It’s also what gets ads rejected. Routines, taste and honest reviews sell without the risk.

Myth 3: “AI presenters are safer for health claims.” The claim rules are the same whoever says the line. And people want a human touch, especially for something they’ll swallow every day.

What to do this week

  1. Pick one product and describe who takes it and when.
  2. Write your claims list: what you can say and what you can’t.
  3. Choose two formats: the routine plus a taste test or “how to take it”.
  4. Decide the setting: the creator’s place, our studio, or a gym or office if the creator can film there.
  5. Plan 3 to 5 videos. Read what UGC costs in Lebanon and use our UGC brief template.
  6. Send your brief. For skincare-style products, our guide to beauty and skincare UGC has more formats.

Supplement and health UGC: questions

Have you made UGC for supplement and health brands?

Yes. Our best result so far is a supplement video that reached about 10,000 organic views on the creator’s own page, which had 60 followers.

Can UGC make health claims?

Only what the label and your evidence allow, and within the platform’s rules. Most health UGC focuses on the routine, the taste and the creator’s own experience.

Can I advertise weight-loss supplements with UGC?

Check the rules for your region first. TikTok’s North America policy prohibits ads for weight-loss and weight-management supplements, and Meta bars ads that play on negative self-perception.

How do you choose the creator for a health brand?

By audience, age and look, matched to who takes your product. We usually don’t give the same creator to two competing brands.

How much does supplement UGC cost in Lebanon?

Starting from $140 per video, depending on the creator, with a captioned edit, paid-ads rights and delivery within 3 days.

Can you film UGC for a supplement brand outside Lebanon?

Yes. Send the products and the brief. Many briefs are in English, and our creators also film in Lebanese Arabic and French. Include your label and claims list so the script stays within what you can say.
